Maine Suicide Prevention Program

The Maine Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has collaborated with the federal CDC to create a dashboard which provides syndromic surveillance in real-time. The dashboard tracks emergency department visits where suicidal behavior was a factor for all 33 of Maine’s non-VA hospitals.
